Rockville, MD – September 12, 2025, ExpediteInfoTech has been awarded a contract to provide Security Risk Assessment (SRA) Tool Technical and Management Support to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of the Assistant Secretary for Technology Policy (ASTP).
The Security Risk Assessment (SRA) Tool is a no-cost desktop application created to help healthcare organizations and their partners evaluate security risks and meet the requirements of the HIPAA Security Rule. It walks users through key questions to pinpoint potential weaknesses in systems that store or transmit electronic Protected Health Information, supports the creation of risk management plans, and helps strengthen overall cybersecurity and compliance efforts.
Under this contract, ExpediteInfoTech will deliver technical support, problem resolution, knowledge base development, training delivery, and dashboard metrics to the SRA Tool’s user community through the Technology Learning Community platform. These services will ensure healthcare organizations and their partners have the resources and assistance to maintain HIPAA compliance and enhance data protection.
